An increasing amount of my work is taking place in the digital domain. I find this to be a double edged sword. While on the one hand it creates massive new opportunities for publication, on the other hand it provides virtually no income. As a freelance journalist, income is somewhat of a priority. So I continue to contribute to several on line platforms on a regular basis but in the meantime my quest (like everyone elses) is to find a way to adequatly monitize the venue.
I occasionally contribute a diving blog for the Huffington Post. "Death In the Devil" is one of a series that I wrote. You can find all of them on the HP site.
I write articles for the on line publication "Scuba Diver Life." This is a link to one of series of stories. You can find the rest if you search the site.
As part of the Beaver Whispers documentary I helped create a "rich and substantial" web pressence for the CBC. This included a live streaming camera placed in a beaver den, 360 degree panoramic photos with interactive links to video and numerous other extras. The page did extremely well for the CBC, particularly the web cam.
